11 Snake - Ranger

This is another picture that Dennis (Ranger) sent me. Carl Yamasaki, who I believe was from Hawaii, is in the center of the picture and that's Dennis to the right. The picture was taken before I was 'in-country' in April 1970 at FSB Devens, if I'm reading Dennis' handwriting correctly on the back. Carl, who I was introduced to as 'Snake', was still in-country when I was there. I believe I only got a few chances to speak with Carl, but I do remember him as a great guy, very mellow. I was very surprised to see his picture in the July newsletter! Until you hear from someone, or see his info someplace, you never know if he's still alive or not.
